The kids won’t want to miss the 2017 Felton Food Festival! With all the fun, food and entertainment as well as an educational component to teach your kids about where their food comes from and what life is like on the land.
Back for another year, George the Farmer will be making a number of appearances throughout the festival day! George will be telling all his stories, singing songs and playing games to teach kids about farming practices and how our food is produced and gets to our plate. So make sure you bring your singing voices and dancing shoes!
Your kids will also love the Felton Farm Fossick with Rabobank, where they have to fossick around the festival site, talk to farmers and listen to George in order to answer six questions from their fossick booklet. Not only is this a fun activity to keep the kids busy during the day, but they will also learn a lot about farming animals, soils and crops.
The Felton Food Festival takes place on Sunday 26th March 2017 from 9am to 4pm. Felton is located 30 kilometres south-west of Toowoomba and a number of festival accommodation packages are available for those wishing to extend their visit.
