Country Life / Park Life

Saturday

We start early in the country! Take a drive to visit The Woolshed at Jondaryan. This heritage-listed Woolshed is the oldest and largest operating Woolshed in the world with over 150 years of living history. Experience the relaxed, rural atmosphere as you take a self-guided tour of the historic museum village. Enjoy a bush-infused lunch at the new Woolshed Café Restaurant. The Woolshed at Jondaryan is open 7 days from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Spend the afternoon at the popular interactive Cobb & Co Museum. Together with historic horsedrawn carriages is a prehistoric mega fauna display and Indigenous artifacts, a working blacksmith forge and a carriage restoration workshop. The museum and its café are open daily from 10am to 4pm, with guided tours at 10.30am and 2.30pm, and Have A Go! sessions at 11.30am. Across the street is the beautiful Botanic Garden picnic area.
