The Felton Food Festival (FFF) is a unique annual event celebrating and showcasing the agriculture of the Felton Valley and surrounding area and gives the public direct access to the farmers who produce their food.
Located on a working farm in the picturesque and productive Felton Valley, the Festival aims to connect food lovers, families and farmers, and provide a tangible link between paddock and plate. The FFF is now in its 6th year, having grown from a small event in 2012. Over its short history it has built a strong reputation, synonymous with farming, food, music and fun. This is evidenced by the way news of the Festival has spread, largely through word of mouth. Run by local volunteers, many of whom are the farmers of the Valley, the event has grown rapidly to attract up to 12,000 visitors.
In 2017, the Felton Food Festival joins in the celebrations of the World Science Fair and Festival activities and stalls will showcase how science is changing agriculture to educate and captivate visitors and celebrate the future of farming. It will also see the launch of an additional Saturday program which includes a Twilight Dinner and Farm Tours.
The Felton Food Festival is a great day out for all ages with plenty to eat, see and do; and the organisers are dedicated to keeping the Festival entertaining and affordable for everyone. Festival attractions include a wide range of stalls, kid’s tent, roaming chooks and other farm animals, gardening and celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, a farming Q&A tent, tasting opportunities and more. Our stallholders help us to showcase the end products that use primary produce that can be grown in the valley. There are information and merchandise tents, local produce, local food and drink, music, demonstration crops and a relaxing country atmosphere.
